Colour experiments
Your selected colours, blend positions, direction and sample settings are processed in the current page. They are not uploaded, placed in a public gallery or saved to an account. Leaving or refreshing the page resets them. PNGs, light recipes and message drafts you download are local files under your control.
Optional preferences
No analytics or advertising trackers run here. If you choose to remember preferences, localStorage holds that choice and your decorative-motion setting. To remove those entries, untick the remember option and apply it, or clear the site’s data through your browser. This option does not save observatory designs.
Sending a message
The contact form sends your name, email address, selected topic and message to this site’s own handler. A necessary session cookie and security token protect the form. The cookie is HttpOnly and SameSite Strict; Secure is used when the handler recognises HTTPS.
After a successful write, the inbox contains your message, a timestamp and receipt reference. A hash derived from the sender’s network address and site path helps limit repeated submissions. Sending a note does not subscribe you to marketing.
Retention
When processing a submission, the handler excludes messages older than 30 days and keeps at most 500 retained records. This does not mean a deletion job runs every day. Hosting logs and backups may have separate arrangements; no country of storage or backup retention period is represented here.
Errors and local drafts
If the handler cannot store a message, the form shows an error and retains your draft in the current page. Downloading the draft saves a text file on your device. It does not deliver the message or create a receipt.
Requests about your information
Use the Privacy request topic to ask about correspondence you previously submitted, including access or deletion. A receipt reference may help identify it. Do not send sensitive identity documents in an initial request. No guaranteed response period is stated.
