ABOUT THIS WORLD

An ocean made
of what if.

What if a spiral lolly could be a reef? What if a bonbon held its own light? Fomariku follows those small questions into six richly imagined places.

Familiar sweets, unfamiliar scale

This collection starts with recognisable things: ribbon candy, citrus jelly, moulded gummies and filled bonbons. Their scale and setting change, but their sweet identity stays visible.

The ocean is a way to connect them. It gives us depth, floating movement and light passing through translucent surfaces. It is not a real destination, an aquarium or a catalogue of edible products.

Moulded raspberry and citrus gummy fish swim past transparent sugar bubbles containing striped bonbons above lime jelly cubes.
The gummy shoal: a still scene that suggests a passing movement.

A consistent material, different viewpoints

The illustrations use a luminous three-dimensional digital style. Wide passages, a close citrus cross-section, vertical ribbons, an overhead spiral and a dark grotto keep that material from becoming the same picture six times.

A place to make something yourself

The light observatory turns the colour story into a small creative tool. It lets you blend a field of colour, inspect a shade and take a local copy away. It does not collect your experiments, require an account or rank your choices.

Questions are welcome
